Resources and Helpful Links
I have included some additional links that have helped discuss my topic in several different aspects. Feel free to look through them if you are interested in further expanding your knowledge on travel.
The first two links that I have included are both personal travel blogs that I found truly inspiring and hopefully you will too!
Another important resource I found was an article in the Huffington Post describing the importance of vacations. The author, Renee Jacques, describes how our bodies are not accustomed to working as much as we do. Jacques emphasizes the fact that vacations help our body to recover and restore us back to a healthier state. Yes.. that does mean vacations are healthy for you!
I also came across an article showing all of the many ways in which travel will change your life. This article describes how exploring and leaving your comfort zone can transform your life for the better. Traveling truly helps to broaden your horizon and help you gain inner confidence.
The last link I thought would be interesting is US News' "Worlds Best Places to Visit". This link is a fun and interesting resource which includes a list of some of the best worldwide destinations. Of course, there are many more, but it is the perfect start to get your feet wet and get you ready to plan your next trip!
The first two links that I have included are both personal travel blogs that I found truly inspiring and hopefully you will too!
- The first blog I found, made my Kate McCulley, describes all of her experiences with traveling the world. She decided to quit her job at 26 to pursue her lifelong dream of traveling the world. She has been to 57 different countries as well as 23 states and continues traveling the world and making her dream come true.
- The second blog that caught my interest was Nomadic Matt. After taking his first vacation from work for two weeks to Costa Rica, it spurred the adventurous lifestyle that now accompanies him. His first trip was supposed to last a year and wound up taking up 18 months to travel the world. Matt's blog is truly inspiring to those, like me, with a love for traveling.
